The dyeing stage provides uniform color application across the full width of the fabric, while the embossing stage uses heated engraved rollers to create a permanent raised pattern on the textile surface. The embossing adds three-dimensional texture without additional weight, enhancing the visual and tactile properties of the material. At 230cm width and 90gsm weight, the fabric is positioned for applications requiring wide coverage with a lightweight, drapable substrate. Available in plain or twill weave constructions, the material adapts to different drape and durability requirements. The dyed finish ensures color consistency across production batches, while the embossed design remains stable through repeated handling and use.

    Embossed Pattern Retention The embossed design is mechanically set into the fabric structure using heat and pressure. The raised pattern maintains its definition through standard washing and use cycles.
    Dyed Color Uniformity The piece-dyeing process penetrates the polyester fibers, resulting in consistent shade across the entire fabric surface, including the raised and recessed areas of the embossed pattern.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    The embossed pattern is set into the fabric through a heat and pressure process that creates a permanent deformation of the polyester fibers. Under normal washing conditions (30-40°C, gentle cycle), the embossed design maintains its definition. Excessive heat or aggressive mechanical action may reduce the sharpness of the pattern over many cycles.

    Plain weave provides a flat, even surface that allows the embossed pattern to be the dominant visual element. The embossing stands out clearly against the smooth background. Twill weave adds a diagonal rib structure that interacts with the embossed pattern, creating a more complex surface texture where the base weave and the embossing are both visible.

    Embossing rollers are produced according to specific design requirements. Custom patterns can be engraved onto the rollers for order volumes that justify the tooling cost. For standard orders, a range of existing embossing patterns is available.

    Store rolls horizontally in a cool, dry environment with temperature between 15-25°C. Avoid stacking more than five rolls high to prevent pressure marks on the embossed surface. Keep the fabric in its original wrapping until processing to protect the dyed color and embossed pattern from dust and light exposure.
